Winter Solstice

Winter solstice is a time to reflect on the year and a reminder to honour our connection to the natural world. It has been a ritual celebrated by humans for centuries.
Using fragments from denim waste an adaptable grid form stitched together with hand dyed madder dye and oak gall dye blend harmoniously representing the light and darkness at this time of year.
